A PRACTICAL COURSE SELECTION GUIDE

Which course fits
your next step?

Start with what you want to do. For everyday AI-assisted work, start with AI Foundations and explore Learn ChatGPT, Learn Claude or Learn Gemini. For repeatable business tasks, compare Business Automation and Python. For a product idea, consider UI/UX and then Codex when you can read basic code.

The courses focus on different outcomes. A tool name alone is not enough to choose a learning plan; check the skills you will practise and the final project.

Where should a complete beginner start?

If managing files, using email or working with spreadsheets is difficult, start with Computer Literacy & Digital Skills. Those everyday skills make later AI and automation exercises easier to follow.

If you already use a computer comfortably but are new to AI, AI Foundations & Prompt Engineering introduces the concepts, task selection and output checking. It does not require programming or advanced mathematics.

Should I learn Python or business automation first?

Choose Business Workflow Automation when the main challenge is understanding a process: what starts it, what information it needs, who approves it and how exceptions are handled. Coding is optional in this outline.

Choose Automate with Python when you want to write reusable scripts for files, CSV data, reporting or authorised API requests. It begins with Python basics and builds towards a script you can test and rerun.

How do the Claude and Codex courses differ?

Learn Claude concentrates on prompting, documents, Projects, Artifacts and a checked work routine. Its starting point is basic computer skills.

Learn Codex concentrates on a coding workflow: clear briefs, project context, change review, debugging and verification. Basic familiarity with code and a terminal is useful before beginning.

Where does UI/UX design fit?

UI / UX Design is a useful starting point when your goal is to improve a website or app experience. You will explore the user’s problem, map a task, design screens and test a prototype before thinking about implementation.

Should I choose Figma or UI/UX?

Choose Figma & Design to practise the tool, auto layout, components, prototyping and handoff. UI/UX focuses on research, task structure and tested design decisions. They complement each other.

Which learning level fits?

Essentials covers two introductory modules in 8 guided hours. Practitioner covers all six core modules in 24 total guided hours, including Essentials. Advanced adds two modules and a project clinic in 12 additional hours. Use readiness evidence and the core project to choose a starting point. These are curriculum guides; class arrangements are confirmed before enrolment.

What if my goal is product or marketing work?

Choose Product Management to investigate customer needs and plan a product. Start with Digital Marketing for audience, channel and campaign planning. Automate SEO and Automate PPC build on basic search marketing knowledge to improve reporting and operations.

Should prompt engineering be a basics topic or part of every module?

Use both. Learn the shared fundamentals once, then practise them on different tasks. In AI Foundations & Prompt Engineering, you learn task framing, context, examples, output requirements, evaluation and revision.

Every module in Learn ChatGPT, Learn Claude, Learn Gemini and Learn Codex includes its own prompt and a specific way to check the result. The exercises move from simple requests to source-based work, reusable instructions and a final project.

How do I choose between the AI tool courses?

Choose the workflow you want to practise: ChatGPT builds towards a checked weekly update, Claude towards a project-based assistant playbook and artifact, Gemini towards a reusable customer briefing routine, and Codex towards a tested software tool. You do not need to take every tool course, and the same foundation helps you work with different assistants.

Does every other module need a prompt?

Use prompting where it supports the task. Selected automation, product, design and marketing modules include optional AI exercises. Computer literacy and core technical skills still need direct practice; an assistant's answer does not replace understanding, research or verification.

What does good prompting practice look like?

  1. Define the task and what a useful result would look like.
  2. Provide the relevant sample sources and constraints.
  3. Request a suitable output and flag information that is missing.
  4. Check the result against evidence and a quality checklist.
  5. Revise, retest and record what improved.

Use a simple prompt when it is enough. Add detail when the task needs it, and evaluate the result instead of relying on a fixed formula.

A WORKED LEARNING EXAMPLE

What should a weekly report automation actually do?

Imagine a practice folder containing two sales CSVs. One file contains a duplicate record; another contains a blank amount. A script that simply combines the files may produce a misleading total. A useful learning project makes those decisions explicit.

  1. Define the input

Agree on the columns, date format and record identifier. Use sample data or copies rather than live business files.

  2. Validate before calculating

Identify missing values and duplicate identifiers. Decide whether to reject a row, flag it for review or use an agreed correction; do not silently invent an amount.

  3. Make the output explainable

Produce a summary and a separate exception report. Record which files were processed and what was excluded so a person can review the result.

  4. Test a second run

Check whether running the script again duplicates records or changes the original files. Document how to rerun it safely and what to do if it fails.

What should you confirm before enrolling?

  • The starting skills, device and software accounts required.
  • The learning goals and project deliverables you will work towards.
  • The teaching format, schedule, duration and opportunities to review your work.
  • The fees, any additional software costs and the completion evidence offered.

Hawa Enterprises confirms these arrangements by email before enrolment. The website publishes course outlines and prepares enquiries; it does not take payments or confirm a booking.

Can I choose a course around a task I already have?

Describe the task, your current skills and the result you want. A learning discussion can help decide whether it fits a course outline or needs a separately scoped project. Share a sample or description first, rather than confidential customer information.
